BUILDING REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

1.     The Building Reps. should report those items needing corrective action which he/she has observed or those that are reported by other residents in the building. Do Not report items for which the resident is totally responsible -- generally, those items inside the residence.

2.     Report items needing action on a work order form found on back office door.

3.     The following is a partial list of items that would normally be reported - use it as a guide:

          a.     Burned out light bulbs - building and lamp posts. Give details of location.

          b.     Light globes missing.

          c.     Washer and /or Dryer repair by machine number and location.

          d.     Dirty areas such as the carport, laundry room, walkway, trash room, roadway, elevator, etc.

          e.     Repairs to the common areas.

          f.      Lawn problems - brown spots, washouts, etc.

          g.     Sprinkler system malfunctions.

          h.     Landscape and lawn improvements.

          i.      Cover over parking area - problems/repairs

4.     Please report any unsafe conditions as soon as observed.

5.     Distribute TIDES and other Association documents.

6.     As Building Representative, you will be notified when it is your building's turn to host a party and Friday night social hour.   This will be coordinated with Social Chair.

7.     Please be observant to new people moving in and/or out of your building.
